Our Trustees
The people running this initiative live and work here. They've built businesses in North Bay, supported people coming up, and are genuinely invested in what this community can become.
Mark Wilson
Chair & Founder
Mark left the UK at 20 with no college degree and built a freight business in Hong Kong before moving to Canada. He came to North Bay because he and his wife Gillian love the place — and he started The Money Project because he knows what it means to have someone back you at the right moment. He wants more people here to experience that.
Katie Bevan
Trustee
Katie has spent 15 years shaping downtown North Bay's creative scene. As the owner of The FARM and Main Supply — two sustainable boutiques — she understands what it actually takes to build something here, not just in theory. She's served as Chair of the Downtown Improvement Area Board, and she believes small business is the backbone of a real downtown.
Len Pappano
Trustee
Len was born and raised in North Bay and has spent more than 30 years working with small businesses across Northern Ontario. He's also taught sales and management at Nipissing University for over a decade. Practical, straightforward, and someone who has earned every lesson he shares.
